I was looking into alternative ways of charging the battery/batteries as I was thinking about hiking in the outback with the Nireeka. I go for long drives so how nice would it be to then ride but the places I visit would not allow me to recharge easily.
I will have a spare battery but how good would it be to somehow have a way of recharging.
Been looking at solar panels and car power supplies so I can charge the battery while driving.
Would love to know if any of you have experience in this area and how to best prepare for the Nireeka's arrival.
It is only an idea for now but I am dreaming about riding around Australia on the Nireeka. That's almost 15,000 kms (over 9,000 miles) If I was to ride approximately 30km/h on average, that's 500 hours. If I ride 3 to 4 hours a day, it will take me 6 months including rest days and having fun. I can do this, its is not unreasonable.
Charging the battery now that's a different story.
