Some of you backers know a lot more about bikes and upgrades that make sense. Can you help us others to figure out the advantages of these upgrades? What is the aproximate weight saving?
Is there any disadvantage? Higher break risk?
Do the better shock absorbtion and higher stiffness make such a big difference? Has anybody of you guys first hand experience with this?
Is this really worth the money? Update 1: We got more info on Indiegogo comments from Max: We build the seatpost and the handlebar in-house. Update 2: Most questions are answered now with the new comparison in the story of Indiegogo posted now at the top here. I guess we can expect them then to be very robust, matching the high quality of the frame and the new fork. The new adjustable stem will fit perfectly as it is custom made too. Update 3: Max has shared here some WIP images: https://www.nireeka.club/forum/nireeka-wip/carbon-fiber-handlebar Update4: It is 100% carbon fiber. No aluminium inserts as in the frame.
